Kaori Sakamoto

KaoriSakamoto, DVM PhD DACVP is a TB Principal Investigator and a significant contributor in the BTS Core of TRAC. She is also a professor of anatomic pathology in the department of pathology in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. The overall mission of her lab is to study the mechanisms used by pathogens to manipulate the host immune system. Her research expertise is in TB immunology and TB animal models.
