Lisa Sharling
Lisa Sharling, PhD, MPH has worked in infectious disease epidemiology and research project management since 2011. After completing her PhD and post-doc in parasitology, and while completing her MPH in Global Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health, Lisa worked with CDC’s TB Field Service Branch as an intern and then an ORISE Fellow. She then joined Dr. Henry Blumberg’s team at Emory, providing support for the Fogarty programs in Ethiopia and Georgia, and the School of Medicine’s Global Health Residency Scholars Program. From 2017 Lisa worked as the Associate Director of Research Projects for the Emory-led TB Research Unit. Prior to joining TRAC, Lisa worked as a Project Officer with the CDC’s Extramural Research Program Office in the Global Health Center. Lisa is excited to have the opportunity to support the TB community again at Emory and beyond.
